Este Foro pretende propiciar un espacio de intercambio de información y debate sobre la colocación con adhesivos de recubrimientos rígidos modulares, en el contexto de la oferta actual de estos productos, progresivamente especializados, que aseguran la adherencia bajo todas las condiciones [naturaleza y características de los adherendos, ambientales y las derivadas de las exigencias de uso] y también deformabilidad ante la inestabilidad dimensional de los adherendos. La adherencia y deformabilidad de los adhesivos cementosos son temas sensibles y de actualidad en el contexto de los soportes prefabricados y los recrecidos (soleras de nivelación monolíticas y flotantes), por la inestabilidad en algunas situaciones, así como la colocación de baldosas inabsorbentes y, en ocasiones de gran formato. También todo lo relativo a las condiciones de preparación, aplicación y etapa inicial de maduración de los adhesivos, en proporción directa con su grado de especialización. En este Foro contamos con la privilegiada colaboración del Prof. Dr. Josef K. Felixberger, responsable del Departamento de Tecnología Aplicada de BASF SE, PCI, de Augsburg (Alemania), como Moderador del Foro y con el objetivo de arropar las intervenciones de los participantes con la mejor y más actual información tecnológica sobre los adhesivos. Desde el 1 de octubre hasta el 31 de diciembre de 2009, los participantes en este Foro pueden contar con este Experto en el tema. Se aporta un documento de referencia del Prof. Dr. Josef K. Felixberger para contextualizar posibles temas a debatir, sin que ello suponga limitación para tratar otros aspectos o cuestiones de interés. Agradecemos de forma anticipada todas las intervenciones, pues la riqueza de contenidos estará en cada tema planteado y en cada opinión aportada. Esperamos también que la información aportada genere conocimiento y que ese conocimiento pueda ser compartido por los Internautas. Ese es el lema y el objetivo de esta Web del Instituto de Promoción Cerámica. En esta primera versión se ha optado porque la intervención sólo precise registro previo y sin filtrar las intervenciones. En la medida que el uso sea el apropiado, usando un lenguaje respetuoso y sin introducir publicidad, se mantendrán estas condiciones. Las intervenciones son responsabilidad exclusiva de los Autores. El Instituto de Promoción Cerámica se reserva el derecho de tomar medidas restrictivas respecto a las personas que intervienen, así como a rastrear el origen de las intervenciones, impedir el acceso desde determinados servidores, o cualquier otra medida que pudiera ser necesaria para mantener las funciones para las que este Foro se ha creado. * * * * * * * * * This Forum seeks to provide a space for information exchange and debate on the installation of modular rigid coverings with adhesives, in the context of the increasingly specialised products currently on the market, which assure adhesion under all conditions [nature and characteristics of the adherends, environmental and foreseeable service conditions], in addition to deformability to offset the dimensional instability of the adherends. The adhesion and deformability of cementitious adhesives are currently sensitive, topical subjects in the context of prefabricated substrates and screeds (base-bonded and floating levelling floor screeds), owing to background instability in certain situations as well as to the installation of impervious, sometimes large-sized, tiles. Further topical issues include preparation and application conditions, and the initial adhesive maturing phase, which relates directly to the adhesive degree of specialisation. This Forum is privileged to be led by Prof. Dr. Josef K. Felixberger, Head of the Applied Technology Department at BASF SE, PCI, in Augsburg (Germany), as Forum Chairman, who will be backing up the contributions of the Forum participants with the best and latest technological information on adhesives. This Expert will be available for Forum participants from 1 October to 31 December 2009. Prof. Dr. Josef K. Felixberger has also provided a reference document to contextualise possible subjects for debate, without this entailing any constraints as to other possible issues or matters of interest. We wish to thank Forum participants in advance for all their contributions, because the richness of the contents will lie in each subject that is brought up and in each view that is put forward. We also hope that the information input will generate knowledge that can be shared by Internet users. That is the slogan and objective of this Instituto de Promoción Cerámica (IPC) Web site. In this first version, in order to make a contribution, participants only need to register beforehand and the contribution is not filtered. As long as the Forum contributions are appropriate and are made using respectful language, without the introduction of any advertising, these conditions will be maintained.
